Role Description
Finance or Accounts Assistant supporting day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, and financial workflows.
The role reports to a Finance Manager or Lead Accountant and collaborates with operations, procurement, sales, clients, vendors, and banking institutions.
Core work includes accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, invoice matching, payment runs, journal entries, and month-end close support.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- The role requires 1–2 years of practical experience with accounts payable and receivable, vendor invoice verification, client billing, and credit control follow-ups.
- Professional accounting accreditation such as ACCA, CAT, or CPA foundations is a plus.
Invoice and Financial Checks
- Execute three-way matching of purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoices and identify billing variances.
- Audit expense receipts for compliance and maintain accurate, audit-ready financial logs.
