About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage the full general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month end/year end close
- Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with IFRS/GAAP
- Review and finalize accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and fixed asset schedules
- Perform bank, vendor, and inter company reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and file statutory returns (VAT/GST/sales tax, withholding tax, corporate tax) and support audits
- Conduct variance analysis, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting; present findings to management
- Ensure internal controls are followed and recommend process improvements
- Supervise and review the work of junior accounting staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce
- 3 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong command of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation
- Advanced MS Excel skills and hands on ERP experience
- Strong English communication skills
- ACCA/CPA/CA Inter or equivalent professional qualification preferred

Role Summary
- Seeking an experienced Accountant to independently manage end to end accounting operations.
- Oversee month end and year end closing processes, prepare reliable financial reports, and provide critical financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month end/year end close.
- Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with IFRS/GAAP/local GAAP.
- Review and finalize accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and fixed asset schedules.
- Perform bank, vendor, and inter company reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and file statutory returns (VAT/GST/sales tax, withholding tax, corporate tax) and support external/internal audits.

- Supervise and review the work of the Assistant Accountant / junior accounting staff.
- Maintain accounting records in ERP/accounting software and ensure data integrity.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce (ACCA/CPA/CA Inter or equivalent preferred).
- 3 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Stable and consistent career experience.
- Strong command of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling) and hands on ERP experience.
- High accuracy, strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong English communication skills; additional language is an advantage.
