Finacle Product Engineer | CMS & API Integration (Banking)

Synechron is seeking a seasoned Finacle Product Engineer to lead the design, customization, integration, and support of Finacle-based banking solutions. This role combines domain expertise in Finacle with hands-on scripting, API development, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver end-to-end enterprise capabilities. The ideal candidate will drive enhancements across CMS/customization layers, ensure quality and compliance, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives in a regulated banking environment.

Essential: Finacle scripting language (domain-specific scripting for customization)

Preferred: Java or other general-purpose languages used for integration or tooling

Essential: SQL and data modeling for banking data; data validation practices

Preferred: NoSQL familiarity and data warehousing concepts (e.g., star/snowflake schemas)

Preferred: Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) in banking contexts

Essential: Understanding of cloud concepts and secure deployment considerations

Essential: Finacle customization frameworks and APIs; REST API development patterns

Preferred: API integration patterns, middleware interfaces, and enterprise integration frameworks

Essential: Agile/Scrum practices; Jira/Confluence; version control (Git)

Preferred: CI/CD tooling experience (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), test automation

Essential: Data privacy, secure coding practices, and access control basics

Preferred: Banking-grade security controls, encryption concepts, and regulatory compliance awareness

Analyze business requirements and translate them into Finacle customization and integration work

Design and implement changes across CMS modules, interfaces, and APIs

Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA, and operations to ensure smooth deployments

Review code and design artifacts; participate in architecture discussions

Troubleshoot production issues and drive timely resolutions

Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and change control

Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Clear communication and stakeholder management for technical and business audiences

Leadership and mentorship abilities for cross-functional teams

Adaptability to evolving banking technologies and regulatory requirements

Strategic thinking with a focus on scalable, compliant solutions

Time management and prioritization in fast-paced environments
