Senior Manager – AI Security Product Owner

AI security product strategy

• Define and own the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for AI security solutions.
• Identify secure AI use cases and prioritize delivery with business, technology, and cybersecurity teams.
• Embed security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles into AI and machine learning product development.

AI security and risk governance

• Establish and enforce AI security controls for model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Perform AI risk assessments covering data privacy, model bias, explainability, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure alignment with NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, and enterprise cybersecurity standards.

Secure delivery and integration

• Lead secure AI product delivery across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Integrate security controls into MLOps and LLMOps pipelines with continuous control validation.
• Drive secure SDLC practices, including threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure deployment.

Stakeholders, vendors, and compliance

• Act as the key interface between Product, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors.
• Manage third-party AI solution risk assessments and adherence to security and contractual obligations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, GDPR, and internal policies.
• Support internal and external audits, track remediation, and maintain AI risk registers and governance reporting.

Monitoring and incident response

• Define monitoring frameworks for AI systems, including logging, anomaly detection, and abuse prevention.
• Lead AI-related incident response and root cause analysis.
• Continuously improve the AI security posture based on emerging threats, including OWASP LLM risks.

Knowledge, skills, and experience

• At least 12 years of experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML security, product ownership, or related domains.
• Strong expertise in AI/ML security, governance, and risk management.
• Strong expertise in cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP and DevSecOps.
• Strong expertise in GRC frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Experience with AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, or ISO 42001.
• Proven experience in product ownership, agile delivery, and stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of MLOps, LLM security, and the AI threat landscape.

Preferred certifications

• CISSP, CISM, or CRISC certification is preferred.
• AI security or AI governance certification is preferred.
• Cloud security certification such as AWS Security Specialty or Azure Security is preferred.
• Product certification such as Scrum Product Owner is preferred.
