Synechron is hiring a Senior Manager - Cyber Security Engineers in Abu Dhabi.
The role is full-time, supports the banking domain, and requires 8–10 or more years of experience.
The position focuses on offensive security, blue-team validation, continuous adversarial testing, and AI security.
Certifications
- OSCP or OSCE certification is mandatory.
- GIAC GPEN or GXPN certification is listed.
- GIAC GMLE or an equivalent AI-security certification is listed.
- Enrolment in the Anthropic Cyber Verification Program is listed for authorised offensive use of Opus 4.x.
- CREST CCT is desirable, particularly in regulated banking environments.
Key Deliverables
- Operate continuous security validation for cloud, infrastructure, AI, and model supply-chain deployments.
- Map validation activities to a second-line-of-defense-approved threat coverage matrix.
- Own the seven-day threat-intelligence SLA using MITRE ATLAS and OWASP LLM feeds through Jira automation.
- Operationalize new attack techniques into test suites within seven days.
- Aggregate, deduplicate, and manage findings through DefectDojo and Attestation.
- Enforce severity-based remediation gates before redeployment approval.
- Maintain Power BI metrics for findings, remediation time, pipeline gate pass rate, and prompt-injection blocking.
- Run control validation against approved scenarios while leaving independent unknown-scenario red teaming to the second line of defense.
Technical Experience
- Experience with autonomous penetration-testing tools such as AWS Security Agent, Horizon3, or equivalent.
- Experience with AI red-teaming tools including Garak, PyRIT, Claude Security, Opus 4.x, or Codex.
- Experience designing tests using OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS.
- Experience shifting from periodic manual penetration testing to automated, continuous control validation.
