Forward Deployed Engineer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and harden agentic AI applications that securely read from and write to enterprise systems of record.
• Serve as the technical lead within a small cross-functional pod alongside business sponsors and process owners.
• Lead rapid delivery from problem definition and prototyping through feedback, refinement, and production launch.
• Own security, reliability, scalability, observability, and governed write-back across the application lifecycle.
• Choose low-code, agent-builder, or custom-code approaches as appropriate.
• Prepare solution data through modelling, governance, documentation, lineage, and access controls in Microsoft Fabric.
• Establish reusable architecture patterns, components, guardrails, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Production experience building and operating agentic or multi-agent AI systems used by real customers or employees.
• Strong understanding of state management, concurrency, idempotency, authorization, and multi-user systems of record.
• Substantial production software development experience in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, Java, or a comparable language.
• Hands-on experience integrating enterprise APIs and data platforms with reliable read/write workflows.
• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation, prompt and context design, agent orchestration, tool use, and MCP.
• Strong hands-on experience with a major cloud platform, preferably Azure, including deployment, security, and operations.
• Senior-level judgment, autonomy, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or comparable platforms.
• Integration experience with Oracle HCM, SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with enterprise governance, responsible AI, identity and access management, data classification, residency, or model evaluation.
