About the Role

Responsibilities
- Perform emergency and preventive maintenance and installation on a 24/7 on call basis with regional responsibility
- Perform on site or in house servicing and repair of company products
- Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment
- Serve as customer contact on technical and service related problems
- Service uninterruptible power supplies and batteries and other electronic based products in a high voltage environment at customer sites
Requirements
- College degree/diploma from an accredited institution in Electrical, Electronics, Engineering Technology OR Red Seal (309A) Interprovincial Journeyman Electrician Certification/Ticket
- One (1) year of experience with UPS (uninterruptable power supplies) OR battery technologies OR electronics
- Must be able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
- Must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license
- Required to travel to US for product and safety training when necessary
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (preferred)
- Basic understanding of UPS rectifier or inverter (preferred)
- Basic understanding of electrical distribution systems and schemes (preferred)

Job Overview
- Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Field Service Technician.
- This on site position is based out of our Delta, BC Eaton location and requires local travel to customer sites.

Salary
- The expected annual salary range for this role is CAD 69000 CAD 87000 a year.
- You are also eligible for overtime compensation.
