About the Role
Eaton is seeking a Product Manager for CYME Software to lead strategy, development, and lifecycle of power system analysis applications. You will capture customer needs, define product roadmaps, and collaborate with sales and engineering.

- Support PLM with strategic planning process for the product line, including alignment with sales, engineering, finance and operations.
- Profit and loss accountability for the CYME Software offering to meet revenue and margin objectives.
- Understand market trends and competitive landscape while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of product applications.
- Provide strategic marketing direction for new features and/or module development informed by customers’ needs and competitors’ positioning, and execute product launches.
- Collaborate with other product managers, product lines and/or companies to create marketing solutions and synergies.
- Provide leadership and drive for results of global alignment for product development, marketing initiatives, regional requirements, and segment specific execution.
- Be a voice of the customer and set appropriate expectations, goal weightings and targets with other division functions and sales/channel organizations.
- Report financial results and forecasts to key stakeholders.
- Serve as the offering spokesperson in key customer interactions and negotiations.
- Work in conjunction with engineering on new product development and product upgrades.
- Work closely with proposal manager, PMO and engineering teams to develop proposals in the context of RFXs.
- Collaborate with PLM to develop, deploy and execute pricing strategy to meet revenue, share and profitability targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Strong technical background related to CYME Power Engineering Software.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in product management, technical sales or marketing, or engineering.
- Must be able to travel up to 20%, some international.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
- Experience as a distribution planner within a utility company (preferred).
- Experience in providing sales/field support and customer/industry presentations (preferred).
- Experience writing user stories, functional specifications, and presenting product roadmaps (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to work within Agile frameworks (preferred).
- Knowledge of software development practices and processes (preferred).

- Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Systems and Services Division is currently seeking a Product Manager – CYME Software. This position is open to candidates located anywhere in Canada and offers the option to work fully remotely or in a hybrid model from Eaton’s Americas Innovation Center in Brossard, Q
- CYME International T&D is a world class Power Engineering Solutions provider. The Product Manager will lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle of power system analysis applications within Eaton’s CYME marketing team.

Compensation
- The expected annual salary range for this role is CAD 106,000 CAD 133,000 a year.
- Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
- Total compensation may be adjusted upward for candidates with significant experience or rare skill sets.
