Field Operator
The Field Operator will conduct regular safety and security checks, respond to emergencies, and perform maintenance tasks. The role involves monitoring equipment, ensuring safety protocols, and optimizing plant performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety and security checks, including equipment, PPE, and emergency exits.
- Respond to emergencies, such as equipment failures, fires, or spills.
- Perform maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, replacing gaskets, or tightening bolts.
- Monitor key process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow rate, etc.).
- Initiate the startup and shutdown procedures for assigned systems.
- Raise and relay information to CCC Operators for any anomalies.
- Prepare a detailed shift handover report, including any ongoing issues, maintenance requirements, and abnormal events.
- Work on optimizing plant performance by analyzing system data and making minor adjustments to improve efficiency or reduce energy consumption.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues, such as valve leaks or pump vibrations.
- Ensure that the water treatment system is operating correctly, monitoring chemical levels, and ensuring that water quality parameters are within specified limits.
- Provide information and update from the field to CCC Operator to maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Daily Operation Report (DOR).
- Occasionally attend site visits by visitors or contractors.
