Role Overview
Mechanical Technician role focused on rotating aspects of process and non-process equipment and subsystems.
Maintenance Responsibilities
- Perform overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown, troubleshooting, and diagnostic maintenance.
- Maintain pumps, cooling tower rotating equipment, air compressors, AHU fans and blowers, and fan coil and split casing units.
- Maintain overhead crane components, mechanical forklifts, and mechanical manlifts.
- Supervise, guide, and monitor work performed by external vendors.
Equipment Scope
- Pump components include mechanical seals, impellers, bearings, shafts, couplings, and joints.
- Cooling tower components include fan blades, shafts, gearboxes, couplings, and joints.
- Fan coil and split casing unit components include compressors, outdoor units, fans, and blowers.
- Overhead crane components include gearboxes, pulleys, trolley tracks, drums, wire ropes, brakes, and wheels.
Reporting and Materials
- Prepare and submit technical logs, checklists, and forms as part of daily routine work.
- Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables from internal stores or external locations.
- Maintain and safeguard company-assigned tools.
