Role Overview
Mechanical Technician role focused on static aspects of process and non-process equipment and subsystems.
Maintenance Responsibilities
- Perform overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown, troubleshooting, and diagnostic maintenance.
- Maintain static pump components, cooling tower structures and components, tanks, and air-handling units.
- Maintain filtration systems, chemical dosing systems, corrosion racks, sampling systems, blowdown systems, and related piping.
- Supervise, guide, and monitor work performed by external vendors.
Equipment Scope
- Static pump components include valves, piping, pipe supports, expansion bellows, and fittings.
- Cooling tower components include infills, nozzles, basins, fan stacks, and GRP structures.
- Tank components include structures, valves, fittings, and air vents.
- Air-handling unit components include filters, ducting, and housings.
Process Systems Scope
- Filtration system components include filters, housings, piping, and fittings.
- Chemical dosing systems include pumps, tanks, piping, and fittings.
- Other systems include corrosion racks, sampling, blowdown, and chemical dosing pipe systems.
