The Role

  • Marketing has changed. The traditional field marketing function is evolving into the commercial engine that connects market intelligence with revenue generation.
  • The role of the modern Field Marketing leader is to accelerate commercial growth at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Revenue Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Your responsibility is simple. Help more customers buy.
  • Understand where opportunity exists, recognise when organisations are ready to engage and ensure the right commercial activity happens at precisely the right moment.

What You'll Do

  • Commercial Intelligence: Understand pipeline dynamics, recognise revenue sources, monitor market conditions, competitor activity and industry trends.
  • Customer Intelligence: Develop deep understanding of target accounts using CRM, marketing automation, intent platforms, website engagement, analyst insight, buying signals and AI.
  • Sales Activation: Work alongside regional sales leaders to create and execute commercial plays against target accounts.
  • AI Driven Marketing: Harness AI across every stage of customer engagement to research prospects, generate account intelligence, identify buying signals, create personalised content, etc.
  • Executive Engagement: Design experiences that matter such as executive dinners, industry forums, innovation workshops, customer advisory boards.
  • Revenue Acceleration: Understand pipeline, opportunity value and conversion metrics; prioritise activity that creates measurable commercial impact.
  • Technology Enablement: Become expert user of commercial technology stack including CRM, Marketing Automation, CDP, AI platforms, etc.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in B2B Technology, SaaS, Professional Services, Enterprise Sales, Account Based Marketing, Field Marketing, Customer Marketing, or Partner Marketing.
  • Understanding of how businesses buy.
  • Personal Attributes: Curious, commercial, technically confident, comfortable with AI, customer obsessed, analytical, collaborative, confident working with senior executives.

What Success Looks Like

  • You will be measured by commercial outcomes: pipeline created/accelerated, opportunity progression, executive engagement, customer adoption, sales satisfaction, customer expansion, revenue influenced.
