Responsibilities
- Manage facilities and operations within assigned portfolio of assets/buildings
- Develop and implement Facilities Management strategy to meet contractual commitments
- Lead and manage the Facilities Management function, including resource planning and allocation
- Monitor service delivery performance and evaluate suppliers
- Control execution of maintenance contracts and supervise preventive/corrective maintenance programs
- Manage customer expectations and resolve escalated complaints
- Ensure compliance with HSEEQ policies and conduct audits
- Prepare and monitor departmental budgets and financial performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 10 12 years' experience in operations management
- 5 years in a managerial role
- Exposure to Maintenance and Facilities Management in Malls/Hospitality projects
- Experience with District cooling plants, Domestic water plant, Power distribution, HV/LV substations
- Knowledge of SCADA and BMS systems

Job Purpose
- To manage the facilities and operations within the assigned portfolio of assets/buildings while implementing best supplier and customer relationship management, facilities management, building energy services management, maintenance, and contract management practices that improve overall operational
Key Accountabilities
- Provide inputs to the development of the overall division strategy and participate in developing the business unit strategy.
- Deliver the Facilities Management strategy while ensuring contractual commitments are successfully met.
- Manage the effective achievement of the business unit’s objectives through leading the Facilities and Operations team.
- Contribute and assist the director of operations in defining an optimum structure for the business unit/division.
- Recommend and oversee the budget for the business unit and monitor financial performance versus the budget.
- Lead and manage the Facilities Management function while ensuring planning and allocation of all resources.
- Discuss Side Specific Budgets with customers including CAPEX and advise on expenditures and cost reduction opportunities.
- Possess extensive experience in key utilities including District cooling plants, Domestic water plant, Power distribution network, HV/LV substations, SCADA and BMS systems.
- Develop and monitor SLAs for the assets and ensure alignment with service delivery and client expectations.
- Monitor service delivery performance and lead evaluation of suppliers’ performance.
- Monitor resource utilization to ensure right number and talent for operations and projects.
- Monitor and control execution of maintenance contracts, review preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Qualifications, Experiences, & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical, preferably with a Master’s degree in Management or Facilities Management.
- 10 – 12 years’ experience in operations management including 5 years in a managerial role.
- Exposure to Maintenance and Facilities Management especially in Malls / Hospitality projects.
