- Design and implement maintenance schedules for critical systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
- Conduct regular inspections of facility infrastructure, identifying and addressing potential safety hazards proactively
- Oversee the operation of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards
- Manage facility improvement projects from conception to completion, coordinating with contractors and vendors effectively
- Utilize building management systems to monitor and control facility operations remotely, ensuring real time responsiveness
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation of facility layouts, equipment specifications, and maintenance records
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for system failures, employing systematic approaches to diagnose and resolve issues swiftly
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the facility
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to align facility operations with organizational goals and enhance overall productivity
Requirements
- Experience in facility engineering with knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems
- Knowledge of NFPA standards, UAE Fire Code, UAE Civil Defence compliance
- Experience with PPM planning, condition assessment, quotation preparation, BOQ preparation
- Familiarity with authority approvals, coordination, building regulations UAE, Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations
- Experience in snagging & de snagging, project handover, site mobilization, demobilization
- SLA management, KPI management, root cause analysis (RCA)
