Role Overview
Oaks Adelaide Embassy Suites is seeking an experienced, hands-on Facilities Manager on a full-time basis.
The role manages property operations, maintenance, compliance, presentation, and relationships with owners, residents, contractors, and the Body Corporate Committee.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage building infrastructure and common property areas.
- Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, general maintenance, and capital improvement projects.
- Manage electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, fire, security, and cleaning contractors.
- Maintain compliant and operational building services, plant, and equipment.
- Oversee WHS, risk management, regulatory compliance, and emergency procedures.
- Assist with budgets, procurement, expenditure control, and capital expenditure planning.
- Maintain records, compliance registers, and contractor documentation.
- Prepare building management updates, maintenance reports, and recommendations.
- Support sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives across the property.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous facilities management, building management, or property maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, essential services, and preventative maintenance.
