Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Perform regular inspections to identify and resolve any maintenance or safety issues
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of building systems
- Coordinate with external contractors for repairs and renovations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and budgetary requirements
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and equipment inventory
- Respond promptly to tenant requests and complaints, and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Conduct energy audits and implement energy saving initiatives to improve building efficiency
- Keep informed of industry best practices and new technologies in facility management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in facility management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings
- Proficiency in CAD software and facility management software
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Valid UAE driver's license and reliable transportation
