Job Description
- Hilton is seeking a Hostess to deliver memorable experiences for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Manage reservations and bookings: Respond to reservation requests and guest inquiries, maintain accurate booking records, update the reservation diary with guest details and special requests, and allocate reservations according to the table plan.
- Welcome and seat guests: Greet guests warmly, escort them to their assigned tables, present menus and wine lists, and introduce them to the appropriate server to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Support restaurant operations: Prepare menus and guest information before each service, complete service logbooks, maintain an organized host stand, and ensure all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Provide exceptional guest service: Answer telephone calls, assist with guest inquiries, demonstrate knowledge of menu offerings and wine selections, and address requests professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain service standards: Follow standard operating procedures for guest interactions, reservations, and team coordination to deliver a consistent and high quality experience.
- Ensure compliance and safety: Adhere to hotel licensing requirements and health, safety, and fire regulations while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
