Ethos is seeking experienced VPs of manufacturing operations to help a foundational AI lab train its latest language model.
The work focuses on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks across core manufacturing workflows.
Core Workflows
- Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
- Develop production capacity models and bill of materials packages.
- Prepare root cause failure analysis reports and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Create quality control inspection checklists and supplier qualification packages.
Compensation
- The compensation is $90 per hour.
Commitment
- The expected commitment is flexible, at 5 to 20 hours per week or more if desired.
- The stated start date is ASAP.
Location
- The opportunity is fully remote and allows work on the candidate's own schedule.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical operations management.
- Hands-on ownership of production capacity planning, bill of materials packages, or quality control processes.
- Working knowledge of root cause failure analysis, equipment maintenance planning, and supplier qualification standards in regulated manufacturing.
- Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with excellent written communication and attention to detail.
