Acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries
Resolving issues that may occur during events and escalating problems as required
Booking rooms and arranging appropriate accommodations
Analyzing needs and recommending appropriate technologies for teaching/learning goals
Providing detailed information and demonstrating the use of technology
Determining logistical details and activities for instructor development and training sessions
Analyzing client needs and making recommendations on event logistics and option
Manage centralized program tasks and inventory suchas creating program portals and ordering office supplies
Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
Minimum three years of relatedadministrative experience required, preferably in an academic environment
Excellent project coordination and event management skills
Must have strong computer skills and experience working with MS Word and Excel, LMS, video conferencing tools and e-mail software applications
Ability to cope with pressures and deadlines and adapt to evolving processes and procedures
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Public Speaking and great interpersonal skills
Ability to learn and utilize different computer applications and technologies efficiently and effectively in all aspects of the job requirements
Ability to assume responsibility and work on own initiative, and also collaborate with other
