About the Role
Rosewood Doha is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to oversee housekeeping operations, ensuring luxury standards and guest satisfaction. The role manages staffing, training, quality control, and inventory for the housekeeping department.

Responsibilities
- Review and revise manning based on business levels, control and compile associate rotas
- Ensure all company brand standards are implemented and maintained
- Direct preparation and oversee implementation of annual training plans
- Handle guest complaints and perform investigations and follow up
- Oversee day to day housekeeping operations, spot checking and following up
- Inspect VIP rooms, guest floors, floor pantries and other areas daily
- Maintain proper par stocks for linen, cleaning and guest room supplies
- Carry out inventories and recommend solutions to reduce losses
- Coordinate maintenance of carpets and upholstery
- Ensure schedules are inputted in payroll system and reports submitted on time
Requirements
- Experience in a senior housekeeping role within luxury hospitality
- Knowledge of Forbes and LQA standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage training programs and standard operating procedures
- Experience with inventory management and payroll systems

Your Role Organization / Manning
- Reviews and revises manning based on business levels.
- Control and compile associate rotas ensuring correct staffing levels.
Service Standards
- Ensure all company brand standards are implemented.
- Maintain and enforce all quality and service standards for Housekeeping.
Training / Development
- Direct preparation and oversee implementation of annual training plans.
- Identify training requirements and organize on the job training.
- Review and endorse all training records.
- Ensure preparation and updates of standard operating procedures.
- Identify and prepare Section Trainers.
- Personally conduct training as required.
- Monitor implementation and progress of training programs.
- Receive and take ownership of guest complaints.
- Ensure new housekeeping associates receive induction schedule.
Working Environment Relations
- Work closely with other associates in a supportive and flexible manner.
- Contribute to creating a sense of place.
- Assist with appraising performance of associates.
- Maintain close relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Create a positive and highly motivated working environment.
- Ensure grievance, disciplinary and fair treatment procedures are followed.
- Utilize communication tools for dissemination of information.
Operational Processes
- Oversee day to day housekeeping operation.
- Carry out spot checks and follow up.
- Rotate duties with supervisor Public Area.
- Review guest requests prior to arrival and ensure proper setup.
- Handle guests concerns and find proper resolution.
- Assist Assistant Director of Rooms in overall running of Housekeeping.
- Drive performance of Housekeeping Department.
- Ensure schedules are inputted in payroll system.
- Complete special assignments directed by Assistant Director of Rooms.
- Ensure regular preventive maintenance and general cleaning.
- Supervise daily room assignments.
- Inspect all VIP rooms, guest floors, floor pantries and other areas daily.
