Responsibilities
- Review and revise manning based on business levels; control and compile associate rotas
- Ensure all company brand standards are implemented and maintained
- Direct preparation and oversee implementation of annual training plans
- Handle guest complaints and perform investigations and follow up
- Oversee day to day housekeeping operations, including spot checks and inspections
- Inspect VIP rooms, guest floors, and public areas daily
- Maintain proper par stocks for linen, cleaning, and guest room supplies
- Coordinate maintenance of carpets and upholstery
- Ensure proper care and use of equipment, carts, and baskets
Requirements
- Experience in housekeeping management in a luxury hotel environment
- Knowledge of brand standards and quality assurance
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to train and develop staff

Your Role
- Reviews and revises manning based on the level of business; control and compile associate rotas.
- Ensure that all company brand standards are implemented.
- Maintains and enforces all quality and service standards for Housekeeping Services.
- Directs preparation and oversees implementation of annual training plans.
- Reviews and endorses all training records.
- Ensures preparation and updates of standard operating procedures.
- Identifies and prepares Section Trainers.
- Personally conducts training as required and on a regular basis.
- Monitors implementation and progress of training programs.
- Receives and takes ownership of guest complaints; performs investigations and follow up.
- Ensures new housekeeping associates receive induction and training.
- Works closely with other associates in a supportive and flexible manner.
Operational Processes
- Oversee day to day housekeeping operation by being on guestroom floors, public areas, and back of house.
- Carry out spot checks and follow up where necessary.
- Rotate duties with supervisor to be fully conversed in all areas.
- Review guest requests prior to arrival and ensure proper setup.
- Handle guest concerns and find proper resolution.
- Assist Assistant Director of Rooms in overall running of Housekeeping Department.
- Drive performance of Housekeeping Department to meet Forbes, LQA, and Rosewood Brand Standards.
- Ensure schedules are inputted in payroll system and reports are completed on time.
- Complete special assignments directed by Assistant Director of Rooms.
- Ensure regular preventive maintenance and general cleaning are carried out.
- Supervise daily room assignments.
- Inspect all VIP rooms, guest floors, floor pantries, and other areas daily.
