Responsibilities
- Oversee enterprise wide risk assessments, compliance audits, and incident investigations across all divisions
- Accountable for enterprise risk mitigation and deployment of safety performance metrics (TRIR/LTIFR)
- Direct cross departmental risk governance initiatives and provide executive oversight on mitigation strategies
- Direct incident investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Establish enterprise OHS training strategy and oversee development of induction and specialized risk training programs
- Provide weekly operational dashboards and formal monthly executive OHS performance reports to President and senior leadership
- Direct enterprise compliance audits targeting high risk operational activities
- Serve as executive sponsor for emergency preparedness, evacuation planning, and major incident response frameworks
- Develop media content for promotional awareness campaigns and behavioral conditioning safety communication initiatives
- Oversee and validate contractor and vendor safety governance, including Permit to Work systems
- Act as executive liaison with federal and local regulatory authorities, including Civil Defence and Municipality bodies
- Provide executive safety oversight during pre opening, commissioning, and operational readiness phases
Requirements
- Extensive experience in occupational health and safety leadership, preferably in hospitality or large scale integrated resorts
- Deep knowledge of UAE safety regulations, Civil Defence requirements, and international SHE best practices
- Proven ability to direct enterprise wide risk assessments, compliance audits, and incident investigations
- Experience developing and deploying safety performance metrics (TRIR/LTIFR)
- Strong executive communication and liaison skills with regulatory authorities
