Role Overview

  • The Executive Director Clients & Growth will provide senior leadership for WSP's client agenda across the Middle East, focusing on deepening client relationships and strengthening client engagement.
  • This role will help develop a Strategic Pursuit team for winning major projects and ensure prospects follow ME governance.

Client & Key Account Leadership

  • Lead senior client engagement across priority accounts, ensuring clear relationship ownership and proactive engagement plans.
  • Act as executive sponsor for select priority clients, supporting long term relationship development and account growth.
  • Translate Board, regional, and global strategic priorities into actionable growth strategies.
  • Be the primary point of contact for the Global Client Programme (GCP).
  • Identify emerging market trends, client needs, and sector developments.

Client Engagement & Opportunity Development

  • Provide regular updates to regional leadership on growth performance and market positioning.
  • Support senior decision making on market opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Represent the region in senior leadership discussions and client meetings.
  • Ensure growth plans align with governance requirements and commercial priorities.

Project & Technical Connectivity

  • Partner with technical and project leaders to ensure client commitments are supported by robust delivery.
  • Help teams translate client priorities into clear scopes and responsive solutions.

P&L, Operations & Governance

  • Drive sustainable revenue growth and profitable business performance.
  • Support pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Establish clear performance measures for client growth and opportunity conversion.
  • Ensure growth opportunities are commercially sound and aligned with risk appetite.
  • Work with Finance and Commercial to monitor pipeline strength and profitability.
  • Provide leadership during complex negotiations and high value strategic pursuits.

  • Provide inspirational leadership to diverse teams, fostering a high performing, client focused culture.
  • Build leadership capability through talent development and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and technical excellence.
  • Encourage cross business line and cross geography collaboration.
  • Champion WSP's values and commitment to ethical leadership.
