Job Overview

  • A Catering Head Chef, also known as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine, is in charge of overseeing the food preparation and Cost Management in the Labor Camp operations.
  • Job Types: Full time, Permanent
  • Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
  • Work Location: In person

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Planning: Creates and plans menus for catering events, considering factors like dietary restrictions, event themes, and client preferences.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversees the catering kitchen, ensuring it runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
  • Food Preparation: Prepares and presents high quality food, adhering to culinary standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Supervises and trains a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and presentation.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintains high standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manages food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to ensure profitability and stay within budget.

Requirements and Skills

  • Culinary Education: Formal culinary training or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a chef or kitchen manager in a catering or hospitality environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity: Ability to create innovative and appealing menus.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

Work Environment

  • Catering Kitchen: Works in a fast paced & high volume catering kitchen environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborates with other chefs, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure successful events
