Responsibilities
- Ensure successful delivery of events and event deliverables (invitation design, registration, invoicing, branding materials, ticket allocation, booking cabin crew, logistics) based on approved project brief
- Liaise with internal specialist units, departments, and external vendors to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery
- Maintain documented budgets, focusing on cost management, and recommend cost saving measures
- Ensure event projects meet agreed Service Level Agreements, brand standards, and consistency
- Oversee and manage successful delivery of tasks delegated to internal or external support teams
- Advise, guide, and support outstations or business units prior to events to ensure compliance with corporate strategy
- Handle event logistics such as booking cabin crew, flight tickets, hotel accommodations, ground transfers, and on site resources
- Ensure all projects are documented and saved in shared OneDrive; conduct pre and post event evaluations
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Marketing & Media Communication
- Degree preferably in Marketing or equivalent or in a relevant field
- Experience in Marketing management in a multinational company handling events
- Ability to adapt and work well under pressure to manage high volumes and tight deadlines
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Supervisory skills to effectively organise suppliers and resources during an event

Job Purpose
- Our Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand team is responsible for conveying the essence of Emirates Group.
- The Events Specialist will be responsible for the end to end delivery of all events, exhibitions and activities within assigned regions/EK Group business units, ensuring alignment to event requirements in terms of objectives, deadlines and budget.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and agency partners and maintain oversight of administrative and logistical components and resources required to successfully deliver events.
In this role you will:
- Ensure the successful delivery of events and various event deliverables (including invitation design, registration, invoicing, branding materials, ticket allocation, booking cabin crew, and logistics) based on the requirements outlined in the approved project brief.
- Liaise with internal specialist units, departments, and external vendors and suppliers to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of services.
- Maintain documented budgets, focusing on cost management, and recommend cost saving measures without compromising brand quality and final event output.
- Ensure event projects and activities meet agreed Service Level Agreements, brand standards, and maintain a consistent approach and quality across all projects.
- Oversee and manage the successful delivery of tasks delegated to internal or external support teams.
- Advise, guide, and support outstations or business units prior to any event to establish local requirements and expectations, and ensure compliance with corporate strategy and image.
- Handle and support event logistics, such as booking cabin crew, flight tickets, hotel accommodations, ground transfers, and overseeing any on site resources.
- Ensure all projects are thoroughly documented and saved in a shared OneDrive for easy access and retrieval, and conduct pre and post event evaluations with the Event Manager and relevant stakeholders.
Qualification
- 5+ years experience in Marketing & Media Communication.
- Degree preferably in Marketing or equivalent or in a relevant field.
- Experience in Marketing management in a multinational company handling events.
- Ability to adapt and work well under pressure in order to manage high volumes and tight deadlines.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to simultaneously manage a variety of issues and prioritise objectively.
- Supervisory skills are also required in order to effectively organise suppliers and resources during an event to get the best results.
