- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment
- Prepare techno commercial proposals and submit them to clients or stakeholders
- Review and analyze project scope along with all drawings and specifications
- Monitor project costs and revise estimates as required
- Provide cost advice throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in project meetings and provide cost related inputs and recommendations
- Maintain and update cost databases for materials, labour rates, and market trends
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and assist in contract negotiations
- Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and collect data
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams
- Identify risks and cost saving opportunities in project requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in Estimation
- Strong knowledge of materials and market pricing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of construction methods, standards, and practices
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience in preparing bids for large scale civil projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Role Overview
