About the Role

Responsibilities
- Review project drawings and specifications, prepare detailed quantity take offs, and develop accurate cost estimates for high end construction projects
- Prepare and update BOQs, coordinate with procurement and project teams, and obtain and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Support tender preparation, value engineering, and budget revisions, ensuring estimates align with project requirements and company standards
- Conduct market research on materials and pricing trends, assist with negotiations, and maintain organized estimation records and documentation
Requirements
- Strong technical foundation in Civil Engineering, with ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately
- Proficiency in Project Estimation and BOQ preparation, including detailed quantity take offs and cost breakdowns
- Effective Negotiation and communication skills to work with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Solid Research abilities to track market rates, material alternatives, and construction methods relevant to high end projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Experience in construction estimation, preferably within high end or complex building projects in the UAE or GCC region
- Familiarity with estimation software and MS Excel; experience with project management tools is an advantage
- Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi, collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, and meet tight tender deadlines

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Estimation Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi.
- The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for reviewing project drawings and specifications, preparing detailed quantity take offs, and developing accurate cost estimates for high end construction projects.
- This role includes preparing and updating BOQs, coordinating with procurement and project teams, and obtaining and analyzing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
