About the Role
Group AMANA is seeking an ERP Systems Engineer to lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of the Odoo ERP platform. The role bridges business functions and the external Odoo implementation partner, ensuring business requirements are translated into system configurations.

Responsibilities
- Lead STAAR’s ERP implementation alongside Odoo’s implementation team.
- Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements from all departments.
- Configure standard Odoo modules wherever possible, minimizing unnecessary customization.
- Review proposed customizations and challenge them where standard Odoo functionality can achieve the same objective.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation.
- Develop and execute data migration plans from legacy systems.
- Configure and manage master data including Products, Bills of Materials, Routings, Work Centres, Vendors, Customers, Product Categories.
- Maintain ERP master data integrity.
- Support users during implementation and post go live, prepare user manuals, and conduct training sessions.
- Act as first line ERP support for all company employees and liaise with Odoo partners.
- Evaluate new Odoo modules and support future ERP integrations.
- Continuously improve ERP workflows and business automation.
Requirements
- Experience leading ERP implementation, preferably with Odoo.
- Ability to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements from all departments.
- Experience configuring standard Odoo modules and minimizing customization.
- Knowledge of data migration plans from legacy systems.
- Experience with master data management (Products, BOMs, Routings, etc.).
- Ability to support users and conduct training sessions.
- Familiarity with ERP integrations (SolidWorks, PLM, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.

Role Summary
- The ERP Systems Engineer will lead the implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of the company's Odoo ERP platform.
- The role acts as the bridge between business functions and the external Odoo implementation partner.
- Following implementation, the engineer will own the administration, continuous improvement, and optimization of the ERP platform.
