Role overview

The Oracle ERP Manager oversees implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle ERP systems.

The role ensures Oracle applications meet business needs, follow best practices, and support operational efficiency.

The position leads cross-functional teams, manages vendors, and supports digital transformation and financial system integrity.

Core responsibilities

  • Lead implementation, upgrades, and optimization of Oracle Financials, Procurement, Projects, HRMS, and Supply Chain modules.
  • Translate business requirements into Oracle ERP system solutions.
  • Manage ERP analysts, developers, and consultants against project timelines and deliverables.
  • Maintain governance, change management, and documentation practices.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and policy compliance.
  • Troubleshoot Oracle ERP issues with IT and functional teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and support services.
  • Train and support users on Oracle ERP functionality and changes.
  • Monitor performance and adoption and recommend enhancements.
  • Track Oracle Cloud and Fusion trends and assess their relevance.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 7 years of Oracle ERP implementation and support experience is required, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, Projects, and HRMS is required.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud experience is highly desirable.
  • Project management, leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
  • Integration, reporting tools, and ERP best-practice experience are required.
  • ITIL knowledge is a plus.
  • Oracle or PMP certification is an added advantage.
