Role Description
The Equipment Manager is a part-time, remote role overseeing inventory, maintenance, and efficient utilization of equipment and tools across Sana’s programs and activities.
The role requires clear communication, organized record-keeping, and proactive follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
- Track equipment availability, update digital inventories, and ensure items are labeled, stored, and documented properly.
- Coordinate equipment delivery or access for team members and partners.
- Schedule maintenance or repairs and monitor usage to prevent loss or damage.
- Collaborate with project leads to anticipate equipment needs and support procurement of new items.
- Develop simple guidelines and documentation for safe and effective equipment use.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, inventory management, and record-keeping skills with the ability to maintain accurate digital tracking systems.
- Experience coordinating equipment logistics, including scheduling, distribution, and maintenance or repair arrangements.
- Basic technical understanding of equipment and tools used in innovation labs, training spaces, or creative environments.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with remote, multicultural teams and external partners.
