The Data Operations Assistant is a part-time, remote role supporting social innovation activities through accurate data handling and operational coordination.
The role works closely with program and operations staff so data-driven insights contribute to better experiences and more effective services.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and maintain data from programs, workshops, and community initiatives.
- Update databases and ensure data quality and consistency.
- Prepare basic reports and summaries to inform decision-making.
- Track key metrics and support documentation of project outcomes.
- Assist with internal coordination and respond to inquiries.
- Support communication between teams and partners.
- Help program and operations staff use data-driven insights to improve services.
Qualifications
- Strong operations and operations management skills for data workflows and day-to-day coordination.
- Solid analytical skills for organizing information, checking accuracy, and preparing concise reports.
- Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with team members, partners, and participants.
- Comfort with digital tools, spreadsheets, and online collaboration platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time, and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
- Interest in social innovation, non-profit work, and human-centered design.
- Prior experience in similar environments is advantageous.
- Relevant academic background or training in business, data, social sciences, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic data visualization is a plus.
