About the Role
Etihad Rail Operating Companies is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Foreman to plan, coordinate, and supervise equipment maintenance activities in Al Fayah, Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and execute all activities of the Equipment maintenance Team
- Supervise personnel and approve the plan for all production activities of the team
- Ensure all activities are performed safely, within relevant regulatory and company requirements, and in accordance with safety and security standards
- Ensure that the team has fully competent and adequate personnel available for day to day tasks
- Assist management in developing the production component of the annual budget and manage controllable expenditures
- Engage in and maintain competence skills in relation to vehicle maintenance
- Provide on call services as required
- Engage in multi skill training to participate in maintenance of all types of vehicles
- Engage in a Continuous Improvement culture, sharing best practice
- Provide training and guidance to other equipment maintenance technicians
- Implement and deliver skill and knowledge transfer requirements
- Operate and supervise depot equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Apprentice trained and/or relevant engineering qualifications
- Knowledge of applicable discipline based railway standards
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electric and pneumatic systems and diesel engines
- Full driving license
- Relevant industry experience
- Experience in writing reports
- English as first language or advanced level of written and verbal skill
- Good planning skills
- Ability to operate highly concentrated and accurately especially under stress of deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate and direct employees
- Ability to work in a multicultural team

Position Overview
- In conjunction with the equipment maintenance supervisor or Maintenance Manager, develop and implement work plans to deliver depot output targets to laid down technical, safety and quality standards, within agreed budget to achieve agreed availability and reliability standards.
