About the Role
Etihad Rail Mobility is seeking a Station Maintenance Coordinator to manage Permit to Work processes and coordinate contractor works at stations. The role requires 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning and PTW systems within rail or infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface for all PTW applications.
- Review completeness of PTW application package including method statements, risk assessments and supporting documentation.
- Identify special permit and isolation requirements — Hot Works, Work at Height, Confined Space and electrical/mechanical isolations.
- Coordinate with Etihad Rail Infrastructure for track possessions when on track works are required.
- Conduct initial review and coordinate with HSE team for PTW approval and compliance.
- Maintain PTW register tracking all active, suspended and closed permits.
- Identify interface requirements between concurrent work activities on station and prevent conflicts.
- Establish and maintain communication with all stakeholders — contractors and internal teams.
- Coordinate access arrangements and work windows with operations to avoid conflicts.
- Support planning and scheduling of all station works including outstanding works, defect/snag rectification, fit out, and services.
- Monitor work progress against approved schedules and escalate deviations.
- Establish and maintain station defect and snag rectification register.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline, Facilities Management or related technical discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Maintenance works planning, scheduling coordination, construction site coordination preferably within rail, metro or major infrastructure environments
- Demonstrated experience managing Permit to Work systems and access coordination in a multi contractor construction or transitional operational environment
- Experience in defect and snag management during construction completion or handover phases
- Sound understanding of Permit to Work systems, special permit requirements (Hot Works, Work at Height, Confined Space, isolations) and site safety management practices
- Proficient in maintaining registers, trackers and logs using MS Excel, MS Project or equivalent tools
- IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety qualification is advantageous

Position Overview
- As a Station Maintenance Coordinator within Etihad Rail Mobility's Operations and Engineering department, the position shall act as the primary interface for all contractors and subcontractor works at stations across the handover transition and post handover Defect Notification Period.

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline, Facilities Management or related technical discipline.

- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams, shifting priorities and complex access requirements.
- Proficient in maintaining registers, trackers and logs using MS Excel, MS Project or equivalent tools.
- Clear and effective communicator, written and verbal, with experience engaging contractors, engineers and management.
- Detail oriented with a methodical approach to documentation, record keeping and reporting.
- Proactive in identifying interface risks and resolving issues before they escalate.
