About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the company's network operations function, including OCC, train control, ETCS Level 2 operational principles, Rule Book development, degraded operations, possession planning and network performance management
- Act as Technical Authority for network operations, establishing control philosophy, network operating procedures, timetable management arrangements and incident management framework
- Mobilise and develop the OCC organisation, support Testing & Commissioning and trial operations
- Provide network operations input into the Company Operations Safety Case and regulatory authorisation
- Focus on operational readiness activities in respect of network operations as determined by the Operational Readiness Plan prior to commercial operations
Requirements
- Experience leading network operations function including OCC, train control, ETCS Level 2 operational principles
- Expertise in developing control philosophy, network operating procedures, timetable management, and incident management frameworks
- Ability to mobilize and develop OCC organization and support Testing & Commissioning and trial operations
- Knowledge of Operations Safety Case and regulatory authorisation processes

Overview
- The Professional Head – Network Operations (OCC) leads the development of Company's network operations function, including the Operations Control Centre (OCC), train control, ETCS Level 2 operational principles, Rule Book development, degraded operations, possession planning and network performance
- Acting as the Technical Authority for network operations, the role establishes the control philosophy, network operating procedures, timetable management arrangements and incident management framework required to operate the 303 km UAE–Oman network safely and efficiently.
- The position mobilises and develops the OCC organisation, supports Testing & Commissioning and trial operations, and provides network operations input into the Company Operations Safety Case and regulatory authorisation.
- Prior to commercial operations, the role will focus on operational readiness activities in respect of network operations as determined by the Operational Readiness Plan.
