The position is for an Environmental Manager on a mega refinery or petrochemical project.
The role requires strong environmental compliance and hydrocarbon or chemical complex experience.
The stated experience level is 20 or more years in core environmental management.
Requirements
- B.E. or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, or M.Sc. or M.Tech in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations including FMEnv, NESREA, and DPR/NUPRC.
- Proven experience in EIA, EMP, and environmental management for major projects.
- Experience in environmental management for hydrocarbon or chemical complexes.
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or accredited EIA Practitioner experience is preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Construction Environmental Management Plan, waste minimization, and effluent control.
- Liaise with environmental regulatory authorities and ensure compliance.
- Oversee effluent treatment, oily water separators, air emissions, and noise monitoring.
- Manage biodiversity, hazardous waste, and groundwater protection programs.
