Environmental Engineer

The Environmental Engineer manages the company's Environmental programs and development, policies, and procedures to prevent, eliminate, control and reduce work related hazards and maintain environmental responsibility Performs the tasks concerning compliance with legal requirements and improvement measures of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001) in conformance with the relevant norms, rules and regulations. These tasks include in particular:

• Develop, maintain and manage all documentation related to Environmental Management System to ensure compliance with ISO14001 Guidelines, and ensure all plant specific compliance requirements
• Provide environmental support and advice to QHSE Manager and Plant Team as required
• Maintain relations with external parties (e.g. regulator, local authorities) in areas associated with environment and accompanying them during their site visit and provision of necessary information and documentation,
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting and monitoring with all applicable environmental regulations and compliance requirements, including procurement of any Site Environmental Permits
• Carry out and document periodic inspections and audits to check that the Plant complies with environmental compliance requirements
• Prepare monthly environmental performance reports
• Develop and maintain the Plant Environmental Aspects and Impacts Register and track any actions raised until closure
• Review risk assessments / work procedures of Plant operations and maintenance activities to ensure environmental risks are identified and managed appropriately
• Investigate and report any environmental incidents and produce HSE Alerts / Lessons Learned
