About the Role
Emirates Engineering Training seeks an Engineering Type Instructor (B1) to conduct aircraft type training for the EK fleet. The role involves delivering approved type and task training, developing course materials, and invigilating exams in compliance with GCAA and EASA standards.

Responsibilities
- Conduct aircraft type Cat B1.1/B2, Cat A tasks training, Cat C/General Familiarisation courses, cabin maintenance course, specialized engine maintenance/overhaul, borescope inspection courses, and other general courses.
- Deliver basic aircraft maintenance engineering training (Modules 1 to 17) as required.
- Develop/organize new courses and review/update existing courses in accordance with EPM, MOE, and MTOE procedures.
- Ensure course materials are of high quality and comply with GCAA CAR 66, 145 & 147 and EASA Part 66, 145 & 147 requirements.
- As a designated Examiner, develop and review examination questions, papers, and question banks; analyze examination results and identify corrective actions.
- Conduct engine run up training (classroom and practical simulator sessions) as required.
- Familiarize with conducting online distance learning synchronous training through MS Teams.
- Invigilate basic and type training examinations and ensure examinees follow prescribed SOPs.
Requirements
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- Degree in Engineering in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering subjects OR hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence B1/B2.
- At least 8 years of engineering experience, of which at least 3 years must be as an Aircraft Instructor.
- Hold approval on at least one aircraft type, B777 or A380.
- Thorough knowledge of the licensing system.
- Ability to train, coach, counsel, and guide.
- Ability to deal with people in a persuasive and firm manner.
- Excellent report writing and analytical thinking skills.
