Role Overview
The role develops, implements, maintains, and optimizes product testing processes, test systems, and test programs.
The position supports manufacturing, quality, process, product development, R&D, and equipment engineering teams to improve yield, productivity, and product introduction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test processes, systems, programs, plans, procedures, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Design, qualify, optimize, install, configure, validate, and maintain automated or semi-automated test systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Execute functional, electrical, performance, reliability, and product validation testing.
- Analyze test results, yield data, equipment logs, and failure trends.
- Perform root-cause analysis, debug failures, and support corrective actions.
- Optimize yield, test coverage, cycle time, throughput, and equipment efficiency.
- Support NPI, product transfers, engineering changes, manufacturing ramp-up, and production troubleshooting.
- Automate test-data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Prepare technical reports and train technicians and production personnel.
- Ensure test processes comply with quality standards, engineering specifications, safety requirements, and company procedures.
