Job Overview
- Responsible to provide Engineering on site field support for the maintenance of designated aircraft Simulators.
- Coordinate and provide on time, effective and efficient services to reduce down time and increase fleet readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Simulator engineering related activities in overall system engineering context.
- Provide Simulator level expertise to solve related maintenance problems.
- Troubleshoot and rectify simulator software problems.
- Plan, implement and accept simulator equipment updates and software modifications.
- Support the Training Planning teams in the development of Lesson Plans.
- Implement complex software and hardware modifications simulators.
- Integrate and accept manufacturer delivered software fixes & updates.
- Investigate and rectify simulator software bugs and deficiencies.
- Plan and implement software modifications required to support pilot training.
- Plan and support implementation of simulator hardware modifications.
- Provide simulator and aircraft software SME support to maintenance team.
- Support simulator quality control activities with Project Pilots and SMEs.
