Design, execute, and automate comprehensive test cases while validating functional and non-functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and execute functional, regression, integration, API, and UI test cases.
- Develop and maintain automated UI and API test scripts using approved automation frameworks.
- Identify, document, triage, and analyze defects to determine root causes.
- Participate in planning, backlog grooming, and requirements reviews to improve testability.
- Validate acceptance criteria, non-functional requirements, and internal quality standards before release.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
- Conduct smoke, sanity, performance, load, security, and release validation testing as required.
- Maintain QA documentation, regression suites, test data, and environment validation records.
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes, automation coverage, and QA tooling.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of QA or software testing experience in software development, using Python or Golang.
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
- Strong API testing skills using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL, databases, and data validation.
- Familiarity with GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Git, SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
- Basic understanding of security testing concepts, including OWASP Top 10.
- Performance testing experience with JMeter, Locust, or similar tools is a plus.
Language Requirement
- English proficiency is required for the role.
