Role Overview
Process Engineer is responsible on overall monitoring and enhance various plant operations.
Role Responsibilities: Provide plant operations with technical inputs and support, prepare different Heat & Material balance scenarios.
Evaluating plant process and evaluate changes proposed to design, taking environmental and economic aspects into account.
Working closely with process chemists and control engineers to ensure the plant is setup to provide maximum output levels and efficient operation of the facility.
Setting up scale-up and scale-down processes including appropriate changes to equipment design and configuration.
Evaluating design, installation, and commissioning new projects, including monitoring developments and troubleshooting.
Perform process simulations, assessing options for plant expansion or reconfiguration by developing and testing process simulation models.
Perform risk assessments, manage cost and time constraints, provide process documentation and operating instructions, develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
Optimizing production by analyzing processes; troubleshoot problems with manufacturing processes, evaluate equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, propose improved manufacturing processes and applying new technologies.
Qualification, Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. 5 years experience.
Technical Skills: Petrochemicals process familiarization.
Specifically, Ethylene Cracker (EC), Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH), Utilities processes.
Strong command of business-level written and spoken English.
Analytical thinking and problem solving.
