Job Purpose
Lead the Electrical and Instruments Reliability Team to achieve plant targets and critical equipment reliability.
Participate in strategy development for E&I assets and long-term reliability optimization.
Reliability and Asset Management
- Manage the integrity, reliability, and performance of E&I assets through monitoring, maintenance, and reliability programs.
- Drive root cause failure analysis, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and maintenance cost optimization.
- Develop condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, risk-based, and criticality-based maintenance strategies.
- Review and enhance E&I reliability procedures, standards, and practices.
Technical and Operational Support
- Provide technical expertise for E&I maintenance, reliability studies, troubleshooting, and operational challenges.
- Support reliability objectives and evaluate emerging technologies to improve asset reliability and operational excellence.
- Support maintenance activities during major turnarounds, shutdowns, outages, and TAM.
Leadership and Workforce Development
- Lead workforce competency assessment, training plans, coaching, performance management, and annual appraisals.
- Provide leadership and feedback to improve employee engagement, capability development, and succession readiness.
- Foster communication and collaboration between the E&I Reliability Section and other departments.
Financial and Program Management
- Prepare, manage, and control annual operating budgets, fixed costs, and CAPEX plans for the E&I Reliability Section.
- Develop, consolidate, and monitor departmental budgets, work programs, and resource plans.
- Monitor implementation of reliability recommendations, action plans, and stakeholder commitments through timely closure.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of related experience.
- Experience in the petrochemical industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of maintenance principles, data collection and analysis, health and safety standards, project management, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, consultation, negotiation, time-management, business, and computer skills.
Plant Environment
- The role supports plant E&I assets, operational reliability, maintenance activities, and major turnarounds, shutdowns, outages, and TAM.
