Advanced Metal Industries and Toho Titanium operates in the specialty chemicals and materials sector.

The Reliability Engineer role is based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, and reports to the Superintendent, Reliability & Engineering.

Role Summary

Ensure the reliability and availability of major instrumentation equipment and critical instrumentation systems.

Review designs, update maintenance strategies, analyze equipment data, improve repair techniques, and support reliability best practices.

Lead or facilitate reliability analysis and implement recommendations to improve plant asset reliability KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Document and communicate assigned activities with timely identification and tracking.
  • Review inspection work and ensure relevant engineering requirements are followed.
  • Maintain high HSE standards and support a healthy, safe work environment.
  • Participate in technical issue resolution with stakeholders and escalate proposed solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze relevant data to identify engineering improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve unit problems with guidance when needed.
  • Report daily assignments to senior engineers and maintain records within established procedures.
  • Apply engineering knowledge to relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Develop engineering support documentation and plans as directed by senior engineers.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrument Engineering, Control System Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and reliability-related software such as SAP, Meridiam, or RCA software.
  • Analysis, problem solving, critical thinking, and decision making.
  • Data gathering, analysis, reporting, statistical analysis, and measurement.
  • Reliability engineering, inspection and integrity engineering, and risk management.
  • Mechanical codes and standards, damage mechanisms, and fitness for service.
  • Piping, vessel, and heat exchanger inspection, including welding inspection.
  • Change control, process safety management, and incident and accident investigation.
  • Communication, coordination, attention to detail, and structured work practices.
