Technical Expertise
- Experience designing DC and AC switchgear for low-voltage and medium-voltage systems.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD tools such as EPLAN, WSCAD, Creo, or equivalent e-CAD software.
- Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems, particularly in automotive applications.
- Familiarity with automotive or industrial instrumentation, sensors, and associated control hardware.
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems, PLC programming, servo electric drives, and actuators.
- Working knowledge of IEC 60617, IEC 61082, ANSI Y32.2, or IEEE 315 documentation standards.
- Understanding of system-level design principles aligned with a systems engineering approach.
Core Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into technical and project specifications.
- Contribute to electrical system design, development, and validation.
- Support cross-functional system integration and standards compliance.
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software Engineering, Physics, or another related field is required.
- Five to ten years of experience is required.
- Previous defence industry experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Effective written and verbal English communication is required.
- Have or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver's license.
