Job Purpose
Plan, prioritize, execute, and monitor pre-projects efficiently and systematically in line with company procedures, specifications, goals, and objectives.
Analyze problems, perform root cause analysis and engineering calculations, and develop optimal techno-economic solutions for project execution.
Coordinate with multiple trades and customers, contribute to periodic reporting, and assist superiors with cost control.
Ensure all activities comply with company health, safety, and environment procedures.
Key Accountabilities
- Plan work activities, lead pre-project teams, and liaise with stakeholders to meet objectives and overcome challenges.
- Perform pre-project engineering work, including root cause analysis, engineering calculations, safety studies, and environmental studies.
- Deliver technically optimal pre-project solutions and quality deliverables within schedule and cost targets.
- Develop and maintain engineering specifications and standards and incorporate lessons learned.
- Monitor technology developments and recommend opportunities for increased effectiveness or cost reduction.
- Provide technical support to the Operations Division as required.
- Support training for new and trainee engineers and exchange knowledge with colleagues.
