Job Purpose
Plan, prioritize, execute, and monitor pre-project engineering activities in line with company procedures, specifications, goals, and objectives.
Analyze problems, perform root cause analysis and engineering calculations, and develop optimum techno-economic solutions for project execution.
Coordinate with multiple trades and customers, contribute to periodic reports, and assist with cost control.
Ensure all activities comply with company health, safety, and environment procedures.
Key Accountabilities
- Plan work activities and lead pre-project teams while liaising with stakeholders to meet objectives and overcome challenges.
- Perform root cause analysis, engineering calculations using software, engineering deliverables, and required safety and environmental studies.
- Deliver quality pre-project work within schedule and cost requirements and in compliance with project execution guidelines and engineering procedures.
- Develop and maintain engineering specifications and standards, including lessons learned.
- Monitor technological developments and recommend opportunities for increased effectiveness or cost reduction.
- Provide technical support to the Operations Division as required.
