Role Overview
Civil Design Engineer role in the Renewables IC.
Responsible for civil and structural analysis and design for AIS substation projects from 132kV to 500kV.
The role coordinates with clients, site teams, other engineering disciplines, draughtspersons, and subcontractors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- B.Tech in Civil Engineering, or M.Tech in Structural, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering.
- The posting states 3–7 years of required experience.
- The qualification section states 5+ years of experience.
- Experience in substation switchyard, power transmission, PV, or BESS plants is preferable.
- Proficiency in steel structures, RCC structures, and geotechnical aspects.
- Knowledge of site, topographic, and environmental conditions for design calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform civil and structural analysis and design for AIS substation projects from 132kV to 500kV.
- Prepare design documents, design basis reports, EDDR, and VDDR.
- Review detailed engineering drawings from steel and precast manufacturers.
- Submit structural drawings and design documents to clients for approval.
