About the Role
GAL is seeking a Senior Avionics Engineer to supervise and perform maintenance on aircraft avionic, electrical, and instrument systems in Abu Dhabi. The role involves technical guidance, training, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to subordinate personnel performing maintenance of aircraft avionic/electrical/instrument equipment
- Evaluate maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and operational policies
- Ensure subordinates manage all forms and records in accordance with DA PAM and related publications
- Perform maintenance trend analysis and apply production control, quality control, and other maintenance management principles
- Instruct personnel and conduct technical training in aircraft avionic/electrical/instruments and related components
- Serve as focal point for parts, tools, shop stock, and supply requisitions
- Maintain accountabilities for all tools and equipment assigned to the shop
- Keep a current technical library in accordance with shop mission and equipment
- Responsible for all safety matters of personnel and equipment assigned to the Avionic/Electrical Workshop
- Responsible for oversight, guidance, and counselling of all personnel assigned

Role Overview
- Assist the Supervisor Avionics to accomplish aviation unit and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all the instruments, electrical and avionics systems on the aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises and provides technical guidance to subordinate personnel performing maintenance of aircraft avionic/electrical/instrument equipment.

- Instructs personnel and conducts technical training in aircraft avionic/electrical/instruments and related components on maintenance, supply and safety techniques.
- Evaluates the technical training program on host nation personnel.
- Serves as the focal point for all parts, tools, shop stock and supply requisitions.
- Maintains accountabilities for all tools and equipment assigned to the shop.
- Keeps a current technical library in accordance with shop mission and equipment.
- Responsible for all safety matters of personnel and equipment assigned to the Avionic/Electrical Workshop.
