- Create detailed architectural designs, schematics, and layouts for projects, ensuring they meet specifications and industry standards
- Conduct spatial analysis, design simulations, and performance evaluations to ensure functional and compliant designs
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including design drawings, specifications, and reports
- Ensure all designs comply with national and local building codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate architectural systems with other building systems
- Communicate with clients to understand needs, provide technical advice, and present design concepts
- Review and approve design modifications and changes, ensuring alignment with project goals
- Identify and resolve design issues, perform design testing, and provide solutions to technical problems

- Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering
- 4 to 6 years of work experience
- Proficiency in design tools and reporting

Job Purpose
- Creating detailed architectural designs and schematics for various projects.
- Analyzing project requirements, developing and refining architectural systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver efficient and aesthetically pleasing designs.
- Provide innovative solutions that meet design specifications and project objectives while optimizing performance and cost.
Key Accountability Areas Design and Development
- Create detailed architectural designs, schematics, and layouts for projects, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct spatial analysis, design simulations, and performance evaluations to ensure designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
Documentation and Compliance
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Ensure that all designs comply with national and local building codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate architectural systems with other building systems and project requirements.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and present design concepts and solutions.
Project Management
- Review and approve design modifications and changes, ensuring they align with project goals and specifications.
Problem Solving and Innovation
- Identify and resolve design issues, perform design testing, and provide solutions to technical problems that occur during the implementation phase.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and solutions.
Academic Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Architectural Engineering.
- Work Experience: 4 to 6 Years.
- Technical / Functional Competencies: Design Tools, Reporting, Compliance, Communication.
