About the Role
Emirates is hiring an Engine Overhaul Engineer III for its Engine Maintenance Centre Test Cell in Dubai. You will supervise technicians, perform engine testing and rectification, and certify work to airworthiness standards.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor Senior Technicians, Technicians, and Mechanics in engine testing and rectification
- Complete own and supervised tasks accurately using knowledge of engine overhaul process and procedures
- Apply knowledge of tooling and equipment to carry out tasks safely and to high quality standards
- Participate and promote a safe working environment in alignment with EEMC Safety policy
- Ensure attendance and shift pattern alignment, participate in meetings and improvement projects
- Assist direct reports with competency development and mentor technicians
- Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance guidelines for approvals
- Conduct staff annual business contribution evaluations and performance reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Maintenance, Avionics, or Electronics Engineering
- OR Valid Maintenance Engineering Licence
- OR apprenticeship (2 3 years) and holder of Engine shop authorisations comparable to Engineer III
- 7+ years in aviation maintenance as an Aircraft/Engine Technician
- Experienced in engine test preparation, borescope, engine run up, functional & performance testing
- Understand statistical process control charts for engine trend monitoring

Job Purpose

- Supervise activities of direct reports by providing mentoring and guidance.

- Provide assistance and guidance for regulatory approvals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Maintenance, Avionics, or Electronics Tech Engineering.
- OR Valid Maintenance Engineering Licence.
- OR apprenticeship (2 3 years) and holder of Engine shop authorisations.
- 7+ years in aviation maintenance as an Aircraft/Engine Technician.
- Experienced in engine test preparation, borescope, engine run up, functional & performance testing.
- Understand statistical process control charts for engine trend monitoring.
- Engine preservation and post run up detailed inspections.
- Lead team in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and test cell systems verification.
